Maitree International School was founded by Chairman Mr Sushil Singh Chauhan and Director Mr Vikram Sharma on 28th April 2019. The Chief guests were Sh. Raj Kumar Singh (Chief town & Country Planning Gurugram) and Sh. Sudhir Singh Chauhan (Senior Town & Country Planning Gurugram)
The school was inaugurated by Mahamandaleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Swami Dharam Devji Maharaj on 8th March 2020. The Guests of honour were: Shri Saurabh Singh, Commissioner of Police, Panchkula (Hr.), Sh. Our school is affiliated to CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). Our CBSE Affliation number is 531914 and the school number is 41915.

Since its inception, the institution aims to bring about an all-round holistic development of its students, thereby providing quality education coupled with experiential learning and a vast range of co-curricular and sports activities. Admission to Maitree International School is based on merit. The student has to clear the entrance test and the interview rounds. The entrance test is based on syllabus of previous grade to which the student is seeking admission. Only meritorious students who clear all the rounds are eligible for admission to the institution.
